2021 Gulf Outing slated for Monday, October 18

We will be playing an 18 hole scramble with a 10:00 AM shotgun start . Registration and more will start at 8:00 AM. Players will enjoy an All – American buffet lunch, on course beverages, prizes and a raffle/auction all to benefit our WVU Peach State scholarship funds. In addition, we can always use your support in sponsoring a hole ($100).
The cost for this year’s event is $90 and includes green fees, cart fees, range balls,lunch and beer on & off the course. Don’t miss this chance to participate in this, our biggest event of the year.
Over the course of our existence, we have raised more than $110,000 which has been contributed to WVU , for both academics and athletics. The Largest Contributions to this total is our annual golf outing. Watch our Facebook page for updates.

Laseter’s Tavern is the place to be in Atlanta for all the Mountaineer sports action. Laseter’s has made generous donations to virtually every event we’ve had. They always sponsor our golf tournament. They donate beverages to every function, outing and bus trip.
Mountaineer Athletic Club
A professional fundraising organization that works behind the scenes to support every men’s and women’s varsity team at WVU. We seek to attract, enlist and retain members, whose contributions and in-kind donations fuel the success of the entire intercollegiate athletic program. In most cases, contributions and donations to MAC are tax-deductible, and active MAC members enjoy valuable benefits based on their annual level of participation.

The Peach State Chapter will be having the annual golf scramble this spring. We know that is short notice, but we felt like the fall was a more difficult time because of the football season starting. Covid had really put a stop to many things, including the involvement in the Alumni group. We are asking for alumni and fans to become involved again, as we were before the pandemic hit. Our goal is to grow the Chapter to new heights. This takes everyone! There will be more information to come on specifics of the golf scramble, but here is the basic information so far. The Chapter appreciates all the support you can give. Thank you for your support.
